Farmers and landless families save seeds and exchange it amongst themselves. Service Center facilitates the process and documents the varieties of seeds and their characteristics. This ensures food security of the community and preserves bio-diversity.
DRCSC Seed Conservation Project is promoting a bio-diversified farming system to protect small farmer investment and also make agriculture profitable by setting up a seed center and a demo kitchen garden for food security in West Bengal
